VIOLENCE IS COMING ?

over the past few years our governments have been imposing laws apon us that are hurting our means to make a living .
It has always been an up hill battle to run small business with all the red tape and cash grabs put in place but lately under the smoke screen of safety or better woking condition etc. we have been attacked with money grabs and now there is more cash grabs coming down the pipe .when will it stop

this goverment needs to stop ,with this country filling up with people that come from country's where violence is the only way they know to protest goverment injustice  along with the fact that we live in a country where guns are easy to buy and posses it is not a far stretch to think that some day open violent   protest like what we see over sea's could very likly happen here if our means to make a living is constantly being attacked while those that have everything keep getting more on the backs of us .

Our governments need to stop now and start changing to really make laws that help us make a living small businesses provide more jobs and help fuel our economy more than large companys and if you take away our means to work we will have no choice but to fight back .

We as voters need to stop voting with our emotion and start looking and demanding for real change and hold those we vote in to those demands and if violent is the only way that so be it , if we do not stand up and say NO than we have only our selves to blame .

our home 7 Bay st

https://www.facebook.com/fred.patterson.944/posts/10151993575149748   this video shows our house that we spent 4 years renovating  the floors on the first floor our hand made ash , we had 3000l' droped off and joanna ran every stick through the planner and then we put it through the tables saw and joinner . as you can see that after we sanded and stained the floor it came up great . the top floor is wide plank pine that we sanded and stained .

in the kitchen we took out the back wall of the house and added 5 feet to add more space , we used $100 a pec cabinets from Home Depot to make the kitchen and joanne painted the black one and ordered handles from ebay as well as most of the light and bath fictures .

the light ficture over the dinning table is a candle holder that joanne instaled a light in the middle .
we installed millwork throughout with wainscotting and cove molding and beaded board on walls and ceilings
the tile floors in the baths are heated 'the soaker tub in the hall bath has water jet and master bath is as you can see a spa bath with a 2 head walkin shower granit counter top with twin vessel sinks and a tub to soak in all day.

the master suite has vaulted ceilings built in shelveing and a electic fireplace and TV mounted above
we have instaled a 2nd kitchen on the 2nd floor and cut out the wall so that the 2nd floor can be a 2 bedroom apt and the 1st floor can be commercail space or tured into a 2 bedroon apt as well

this property sit on a corner lot in the main section of Baysville we have a large landscaped side yard with stone patio and walk ways as well as a fire pit .
this home is now the best home in Baysville

Really How Much

Really How Much !

It never seems to amaze me just how low some people are willing to devalue themselves .There is this mentality out there that it does not matter how low they go with there price as long as they get the job, this so wrong in so many ways .

For one ,on the home owners side the cheaper the cost most often the cheaper the job ,we have all heard the saying " the joy of a low price is quickly replaced be the reality of a poor job" how many times have we all heard of this happening , and yet customers are still wanting low prices over quality workmanship.

Now on the trades side if they keep doing work for below average cost they can not maintain their tools ,truck or standard of living , if they are living below the standard than they can not add to the economy by up grading their life style.
The most common problem with hiring by price is that the contractor is working for so little that he has to work fast and cut corners to make money and good luck getting them to come back if there is a problem .

It is not just home owners that are the cause for low prices but retailers that offer install as well they make their money on the sale and then have their installers work for so little.

When you add in that some of these trades are trying stay legal with paying into WSIB and Tax as well as licences this can only lead to failure and that is one main reason so many contractor work under the table .

Every time a client ask me if I could lower my price I ask them if they will work for less and if they could call their boss and tell him that they will .
I have never lowered my price in fact I have made a living by telling people that I am more money than the rest and then I begin to explain why .
I can tell you that if you can deliver what you promise then you will find that you do not have to lower your price.

my company Moto  "  On Time On Budget Total Satisfaction "

Until the trades start sticking to their price and clients care more about quality than low cost  we will all continue to suffer in one way or another .
